Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your DarLink subscription at any time, for any reason. DarLink offers both monthly and annual subscription plans, each providing a set amount of tokens per billing period. Cancellation takes effect once our customer support team receives your written cancellation notice. Your subscription will then remain active until the end of the current paid billing cycle (the current month or year, depending on your plan) and will not renew afterward. We do not provide refunds for the current billing period’s fees or any tokens (used or unused) from that period when you voluntarily cancel.

Requesting a Refund or Subscription Cancellation

To request a subscription cancellation or inquire about a refund, please contact our support team at contact@darlink.ai. Include relevant details about your account and the transaction in question. Our team will review your request and respond within approximately 72 hours (three business days). If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method or credited to your account, as applicable.

Chargebacks and Account Information Disclosure

Important: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for any transaction on your DarLink account, we reserve the right to disclose all relevant account and communication records to the payment processor or bank as evidence to validate the charge. This may include private messages or content you have sent/received through DarLink, if necessary. (In such cases, our Privacy Policy’s confidentiality provisions will not prevent us from sharing this information, as we must demonstrate the legitimacy of the charges.)

Refund Policy and Conditions

We issue monetary refunds only under specific conditions. Below is an outline of cases where refunds are granted, and cases where refunds are not provided:

Eligible Refund Cases:

  • Fraudulent Charges: If we verify that your credit card or payment method was used fraudulently on our platform (without your authorization), we will refund the impacted transaction in full. Please contact us immediately if you suspect an unauthorized or fraudulent charge so we can investigate and assist.
  • Service Termination by DarLink:If DarLink suspends or terminates your subscription without cause or without any fault on your part, you will receive a pro-rated refund for any remaining paid but unused portion of your subscription . For example, if you paid for a year up front and we terminate your account halfway through that year (for reasons other than a policy violation), we would refund roughly the remaining half of your subscription fee.
  • Platform Errors: If a technical error or billing mistake on our side causes you to be overcharged or not receive the service/item you paid for, we will correct the issue. This may include issuing a full or partial refund or crediting your account with the proper amount of tokens, as appropriate. We want to ensure you receive what you paid for.

Non-Refundable Cases:

  • Accidental Purchases or Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds for accidental purchases, unintended subscriptions, or if you simply change your mind about a purchase. Once tokens or subscription access are delivered to your account, the transaction is considered final. In other words, erroneous or mistaken purchases by the user are not eligible for refunds, since the error was not caused by us . Please review your selections carefully before confirming any payment.
  • User Cancellations: If you choose to cancel your subscription on your own (or downgrade to a free plan), we will not refund any prepaid fees for the remaining days in your billing cycle. You will retain access to premium features and any allotted tokens until the end of the paid period, but no prorated refund will be given for the unused time or tokens.
  • Termination Due to Violations: If your account or subscription is terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy on your part (for example, misconduct or misuse of the platform), or if you request your own account to be deleted/terminated, you will not be eligible for any refund of fees or unused tokens. Refunds are forfeited in these cases as a consequence of violating the agreement.

Maximum Refund Amount: Any approved refund will not exceed the amount you originally paid for the service or item in question. We cannot issue refunds beyond the original transaction amount or compensate for intangible losses. Tokens have no cash value outside of DarLink and are not redeemable for cash; refunds related to tokens (when applicable under the conditions above) will be based strictly on the original purchase price of those tokens or subscription.
